Saint Xavier Golf Facility
St. Xavier’s golfers have gone on to have storied careers in the PGA. The high school needed a facility for the next generation of competitive golfers to train and practice.
The Challenge
Wescott needed to create a spectacular indoor golf facility in a location that previously served as an equipment shed. The shed had flat concrete floors that needed to be sculpted.
The Solution
Wescott Construction worked with an architect to develop a plan to meet the needs of the golf team. The floor was sculpted with angulation in mind to give it rolling contours, emulating a real green.
The Results
The converted space can easily be considered as one of the nicest high-school golf facilities in the state. We also installed a driving range, installed a simulator, and a full-height wall with murals.
From Our Founder
“Many indoor greens feature roll out carpet and are dead flat. For St. Xavier High School, we knew that wouldn’t do. From sculpting floors to create angulation to a full wall mural, the end result gives the golf team a leg up from the competition.”
